Kathryn Hill is a photojournalist, blogger, and deaf-tech consultant.  Her photography work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Cycle News, FHM, American Marketplace, Slow Food, and Food & Wine.  Her photography blog won "Best Photo Blog" in the 2005 Deaf Blog Awards and her photography was featured in the 2005 Independent Food Festival Awards.  She is the Editor-in-Chief of STONE DEAF PILOTS - the deaf tech blog, and has guest blogged on Wired and LAVOICE.  She has been featured on BoingBoing and Danger.

Kathryn started looking at the photographs in her parents' National Geographic and Gourmet magazines at the age of 4 and got her first camera at the age of 6, and was immediately hooked.  As a child, she would crawl around under bushes in the backyard with her camera and pretend she was on assignment for National Geographic. She has lived and worked abroad in France, Italy, and Montréal. Her photography experience is based in photojournalism, wedding, food, travel, product, and portrait photography.

Kathryn is based in San Francisco and is available to travel anywhere for work.

Kathryn's personal interests include bicycling, traveling, kitchen experimentation, and having a cocktail in the middle of a dust storm with good friends at Burning Man.
